Women helping women, with a few laughs along the way: this
is the point of publishing an annual calendar in which each month is illustrated by a decorated bra. Click on the link
below to see the calendars published since 2000, and look below to see the bras Studio X is showing these days!

| Bra-B-Q |

|
| By: Kerry Treasure |
|
What could be more all-American than a Bra-B-Q,
or than curing breast cancer? The project was inspired by coincidentally stumbling on sponges that make
perfect buns. Coat hanger wire covered with ribbon provide the stability. Corn cobs
are mini-markers. Ribbon and felt finish off the feast.

| Honey, I Shrunk The Tits |

|
| By: Kerry Treasure |
|
This
piece is a rebellion against the big-boob culture, and a farce, like its
namesake movie “Honey, I Shrunk the Kids.” The Lego (pink, of course), which was featured so
prominently in the movie, provides a scale of reference for the tiny tits. Crocheted pearl cotton and ribbon.

| Mardi Bra |

|
In making this, I had an image of New Orleans floating, and of beautiful
glitzy girls on floats in a parade. I used peacock feathers, flower petals, leaves, and tinsel.

This bra is entirely covered by sea shells. She sells
sea shells by the sea shore.

| Bra-nana Split |

|
| By: Kathy Nichols |
|
This Bra-nana Split was inspired by the following quote from humorist and
breast cancer victem, Erma Bombeck who wrote 'Seize the moment...Remember all those women on the Titanic who waved off
the dessert cart'. This is in memeory of Erma and the breast cancer victems in my family who always enjoyed a good
laugh.
